I took a leap because amazon warned this was reviewed as often returned for running small in the bust, which is always my concern. I passed over this dress for days while scouring the entire site, but kept coming back to this one. I ordered an XXL to try and am so glad I did! This dress is gorgeous and fit my bust (DD/DDD) perfectly (no undergarment). I sized up because of the warning and the measurements guide, but I could have ordered my normal size and just did to compare. I’ll have to update on how that one fits. I like “snug as a bug”, but tend to avoid dinner sausage levels of tight.The ruching is in all the right places and well done. It is so soft, has great stretch and is light but gives you shape. I’ll be wearing this for an outdoor end of July wedding and won’t be overheating. It isn’t see through, but I didn’t go outside yet to see if that changed.The color is perfect as a beautiful deeper red that isn’t orange-leaning or ultra bright. It’s a rich red. The corset style top looks great and isn’t smashing your body; it is a visual element and not a functional element. The straps of the dress have a lot of stretch. The dress is so lightweight The straps aren’t really there to hold the dress up and therefore won’t be digging into your shoulders. This isn’t a dress you’ll be tugging up all night.I say take the chance, and hopefully your pleasantly surprised like I was. Only warning I’d give is to be careful when zipping so the fabric doesn’t get caught.
